Description
The Askar 107PHQ is an ideal astrograph for both beginner astrophotographers and experienced users seeking a reliable optical tube. Its impressive optical characteristics make it a valuable tool in the field of professional astrophotography.
At the core of this telescope lies a four-element apochromatic optics system with an air gap. To ensure the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations, Askar designers have incorporated a solution found in high-end apochromats. They utilized two lenses made of glass with reduced dispersion (ED), resulting in excellent color reproduction. Furthermore, the Askar 107PHQ boasts minimal field curvature, allowing for distortion-free images on the edge of the frame even without the use of an additional flattener.
However, the capabilities of this telescope extend beyond astrophotography. With the addition of the angular cap or eyepieces with 1.25" and 2" diameters, the Askar 107PHQ enables visual observations as well.
In addition to its impeccable optical performance, the Askar 107PHQ stands out for its high-quality and precise mechanical components. The sturdy focuser accommodates even the heaviest astronomical cameras, while the CNC-machined mounting rings and Vixen foot ensure the stability of the tube.
Key Features of the Askar 107PHQ Telescope:
