Specially designed to complement the astrograph, this reducer ensures impeccable field correction and seamless compatibility with professional cameras and camcorders equipped with a full-frame sensor.
By reducing the focal length by a factor of 0.7x, the Askar FRA400 astrograph is transformed to a remarkable 280 mm at f/3.9. These specifications not only enable capturing breathtaking wide-field photographs but also significantly reduce exposure times by up to half.
The f/3.9 reducer is equipped with a convenient M48x0.75 thread on the camera side, allowing the easy installation of 2" diameter filters. This feature provides photographers with the flexibility to experiment with different filters and enhance their imaging capabilities.
