The incorporation of Sony Starvis™ technology in the Sony IMX533 sensor has pushed the boundaries of sensitivity, enabling the registration of faint signals emanating from the farthest reaches of outer space. Notably, this camera is free from the Amp Glow effect commonly observed in many CMOS sensors, eliminating the issue of certain areas of the image brightening during long exposures. Despite not having active cooling, the camera maintains an impressively low readout noise level, ranging from 1 to 3.8 e.
