Sky-Watcher EQM-35 + NEQ-5 Mount

The SkyWatcher EQM-35 is a highly functional parallactic assembly designed for astrophotography. With the addition of a drive, this mount offers exceptional capabilities. While it shares a similar construction structure to the EQ3, the EQM-35 boasts several key differences that greatly enhance its performance.

The EQM-35 mount can be utilized in two configurations. The standard configuration allows it to function as a classic parallactic assembly with micromovements. In this setup, it can support an impressive payload of up to 10 kilograms. Moreover, the head can be easily retrofitted with GoTo and AutoGuider systems, offering enhanced tracking and guiding functionalities.

The second configuration is the travel configuration, which is achieved by dismantling the declination axis. The EQM-35 allows for simple separation of the declination block from the rest of the assembly, a process that takes just a few minutes. Once detached, the head weighs a mere 3.28 kilograms and can easily fit into hand luggage. The operation of the disassembled head is reminiscent of the StarAdventurer head, while offering even greater stability and load capacity. Furthermore, the head can be optionally equipped with an additional dovetail or ball head, enabling direct connection of a camera with a lens.
