Description
The Sky-Watcher EQ6-R is a newly enhanced version of the popular NEQ-6 Pro mount, featuring a sleek design and technological advancements. Drawing inspiration from the AZ-EQ5/6 hybrid assemblies, this mount replaces traditional toothed gears with a belt gear mechanism.
The mount's head weighs 17.3 kg, the tripod weighs 7.5 kg, and it offers a total load capacity of 20 kg for visual observations and 15 kg for astrophotography (counterweights not included). Control of the entire system is made convenient through the SynScan application, which can be accessed via a WiFi network on a smartphone.
The EQ6-R mount is equipped with saddles that accommodate both Vixen standard dovetail rails and Losmandy type rails, providing versatile attachment options.
