Description
Sky-Watcher 114/900 is a Newtonian system mirror telescope with a mirror diameter of 114 mm and a focal length of 900 mm. Good optics and a not inconsiderable mirror guarantee a lot of aesthetic experience in astronomical observations.
This telescope allows advanced visual observations of the planets and the Moon showing a large amount of detail on the surfaces of these objects. Due to its design, it is also recommended for observing nebular objects. Under good observing conditions, it can show more than a hundred nebulae, galaxies and star clusters included in the Messier and NGC catalogs. It also has a built-in eyepiece focuser with a diameter of 1.25 inches, which allows the use of any eyepieces made to this standard. The whole thing is an excellent solution for both beginners and more advanced observers, guaranteeing a very competitive price.
The telescope's EQ2 parallactic mount provides sufficient rigidity, necessary for observing at high magnifications. The lightweight height-adjustable aluminum tripod is easy to carry, while an accessory shelf and a precision micromotion mechanism for manual control complete the package.
