What sets the Antlia O-III 36mm 4.5nm EDGE apart is its ability to effectively block unwanted light from sodium and mercury lamps while maintaining high transmittance for the O-III spectral line—a crucial feature for astrophotographers. Crafted on a top-quality glass substrate, it minimizes the risk of internal light reflections.
Notably, the Antlia O-III 36mm 4.5nm EDGE filter exhibits a steep transmission window slope. Unlike conventional broadband filters, it doesn't experience a significant drop in transmittance due to the shift in the maximum permeability peak (CWL).
