Description

The N 150/1200 Telescope:

Ideal for both beginners and seasoned amateur astronomers, this Newtonian reflecting telescope is a powerful tool for exploring the cosmos. With its generous 150mm diameter, it gathers an abundance of light, making distant Deep Sky Objects (DSOs) such as the Ring Nebula in Lyra and the Dumbbell Nebula clearly visible. Even globular clusters like M13 reveal intricate details, with individual stars visible at their edges. Planetary observation is equally rewarding, offering rich detail in images of Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and Mars. The f/8 focal ratio makes this reflector a versatile choice for both deep sky and planetary observing, with a light-gathering capacity 460 times greater than the naked eye alone.

Key Advantages:

Compact and portable OTA

Excellent value for money

The EQ3-2 Mount:

A refined version of the EQ-3 mount in an elegant white design, this mount provides a stable platform for most medium-sized optics, perfect for exploring the night sky. Aligning the parallactic mount with the Pole Star allows for easy sighting and adjustment of objects in the field of view. Fine adjustments can be made in both right ascension and declination. The mount's stability is further enhanced by the ability to retrofit polar finders and electric motors, making it suitable for visual observing and entry-level astrophotography. Optional add-ons such as the motor kit or GoTo upgrade kit enable long exposure astrophotography. With practice, you can produce stunning images of galaxies and nebulae.

Included with the Mount:

  • Mount with manual adjustment knobs
  • Extra brace with eyepiece tray
  • 1.25'' Eyepieces: 25mm, 10mm
  • Barlow Lens: 2x
  • Finder Scope: 6x30
  • Slow Motion Cable (Piece): 2
  • Counterweight (Piece): 2
