Sky-Watcher NEQ-5 Pro SynScan GoTo Upgrade Kit

This upgrade kit transforms your existing Sky-Watcher equatorial mount into an advanced GoTo system. Equipped with the SynScan hand controller, this upgrade makes celestial navigation accessible even for beginners. Simply use the LCD display to choose from planets, galaxies, clusters, or nebulae, and the mount will automatically direct the telescope to your selected object. The hand controller is pre-loaded with 42,900 celestial objects from the complete Messier, NGC, and IC catalogues and allows you to save up to 25 custom positions for easy revisits to your favorite discoveries. With positional accuracy down to an arc-minute, targets are quickly brought into the field of view, slewing at speeds up to 3.4° per second.

This system is designed for both amateur astronomers and professionals. It includes PEC software to minimize periodic errors in the worm gear, ensuring stable images for astrophotography. An autoguider port is provided for more complex tracking setups. Variable tracking speeds (0.25X, 0.50X, 0.75X, 1X) and slewing speeds (from 2X to 800X) offer extensive flexibility in observing the night sky. Motor precision is fine-tuned to 0.144 arc-seconds, with options for 1, 2, or 3-star alignment for optimal accuracy.
