Sky-Watcher SynScan GoTo Handcontroller

The SynScan GoTo hand control box is designed for operating Skywatcher telescopes and features an internal database with over 42,000 celestial objects, making it accessible for astronomers of all skill levels. The device is user-friendly with large keys and a two-line display that enhance usability in the dark or while wearing gloves. It facilitates polar alignment and, with an optional GPS module, can directly receive precise location coordinates to simplify the process further. The firmware of the control system can also be updated online to ensure it remains current.

This hand control box can be used to upgrade Skywatcher mounts to the SynTrek configuration, effectively transforming your mount into a comprehensive GoTo system. It’s important to note that the required connection cables are not included and should be acquired separately (refer to 'Recommended Accessories'). The controller is versatile, serving both as a replacement part or for updating older Skywatcher GoTo mounts.
