Description

Our sleek and robust OAG seamlessly integrates with our Indigo Filter Wheel, offering a convenient solution for astrophotographers. Equipped with through holes (M2 and M3) in its body, the OAG enables direct connection with the latest CMOS cameras and other Filter Wheels.

The primary advantage of employing an OAG lies in its shared optical path with your primary imaging camera, eliminating concerns regarding differential flexure that may arise when using a separate guide scope atop your main telescope.

Slim Design: The Indigo OAG boasts an impressively thin profile, with a back focus of 10mm plus 4mm for the telescope adapter, totaling 14mm. Crafted from CNC-machined airplane-grade 6061 aluminum alloy, the OAG guarantees both lightweight construction and durability.

Adjustable Prism: Easily adjust the prism height to optimize illumination of the guiding camera's field of view. Should your imaging camera feature a large sensor, the prism can be raised (and securely fastened with set screws) to prevent obstruction of the sensor's optical path.

Ample Mirror: A generously sized 12×8 mm fully multicoated and anti-reflection mirror delivers ample illumination to the guiding camera, ensuring round and bright stars across the OAG's field.

Generous Dimensions: The Indigo OAG accommodates the 62mm through hole pattern, facilitating direct connection with the latest CMOS cameras and Filter Wheels. The guiding camera connection features a 1.25” barrel.

Flexible Orientation: Achieve optimal image train framing orientation through the three screws that enable the telescope adapter to slide within the slots.

Robust Construction: With a thickness of 10mm, the solid design of the OAG can confidently support heavy imaging equipment, while offering a clear aperture of 53.5mm.

Package Includes:

  • M54F threaded adapter for telescope connection (adds a thickness of 4mm)
  • M48F threaded adapter for camera connection (adds a thickness of 4mm)
