TS Optics Apochromatic refractor AP 94/414 EDPH OTA (69017)

This 94 mm apochromatic refractor, featuring a fast focal ratio of f/4.4, is perfect for amateur astronomers seeking a compact, color-accurate, and fast telescope. The triplet lens design incorporates two special ED elements, ensuring images are free from chromatic aberrations even at high magnifications. The optical performance is on par with FPL53 triplet lenses. The lens is mounted in a CNC-milled, adjustable cell for precise alignment.

The telescope is built with solid mechanics, including a 3-inch dual-speed rack and pinion focuser. The focuser is designed so that adjustment and bearing are separated, preventing the draw-tube from tilting when clamped and allowing for precise focusing, even with heavy equipment.

The color-pure triplet lens provides excellent performance for both astronomical and terrestrial observations. The high-contrast image is clear for daytime activities such as birdwatching, while at night, the 94 mm aperture reveals lunar craters, planetary details, and thousands of deep-sky objects. The telescope supports both 1.25-inch and 2-inch accessories, such as star diagonals.

The carrying handle is multifunctional, making it easier to mount the telescope on a photo tripod and serving as a base for additional accessories. The handle features a slotted hole and a 1/4-inch photo thread, allowing you to attach a ball head or mount a second camera in parallel. Next to the handle is a finder shoe for attaching finder scopes, mini telescopes, or red-dot finders.
