TS Optics Apochromatic refractor AP 94/517 EDPH OTA (69791)

This 94 mm apochromatic refractor with a fast focal ratio of f/5.5 is designed for amateur astronomers who value a compact, color-accurate, and fast telescope. The triplet lens design uses two special ED elements, delivering images free from chromatic aberrations even at high magnifications. The optical performance matches that of an FPL53 triplet lens. The lens is secured in a CNC-milled, adjustable mount for precise alignment.

Solid mechanics further enhance the telescope’s appeal. It comes with a 3-inch dual-speed rack and pinion focuser, where adjustment and bearing are separated to prevent tilting of the draw-tube during clamping. This allows for precise focusing even with heavy accessories.

The pure color triplet lens provides a high-contrast image, making it suitable for both astronomy and daytime observation. The 94 mm aperture reveals lunar craters, planetary details, and thousands of deep-sky objects. The telescope supports both 1.25-inch and 2-inch accessories, such as star diagonals.

The carrying handle is multifunctional, making it easy to mount the telescope on a photo tripod and serving as a base for additional accessories. The handle features a slotted hole and a 1/4-inch photo thread, allowing you to attach a ball head or mount a second camera in parallel. Next to the handle is a finder shoe for finder scopes, mini telescopes, or red-dot finders.
