This 6-inch Newtonian astrograph is designed with fast f/4 optics, making it highly effective for astrophotography. Its rapid optics allow for shorter exposure times when imaging deep sky objects. Despite its performance, the 6-inch model remains compact and lightweight, so it can be used with a relatively small mount, keeping your entire system portable and easy to handle.

For astrophotography, this telescope is especially suited for wide-field exposures, making it ideal for capturing large objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy or the Orion Nebula. A suitable coma corrector is recommended to address the typical coma found in fast Newtonian telescopes. The secondary mirror is larger than what is needed for visual use, ensuring full illumination for DSLR and CCD cameras. The focuser has a fine reduction ratio for precise focusing and is built robustly to support heavy photographic equipment.

For visual observing, the telescope can also be used without a camera. The fast optics provide impressive results for visual astronomy. Both 1.25" and 2" eyepieces are compatible, and an extension tube is included to help achieve focus when using eyepieces.

For universal use, the telescope is equipped with high-quality tube clamps and a standard Vixen-style prism rail, allowing you to attach it to almost any mount. A finder scope is also included.
