TS Optics Telescope N 203/1000 Carbon Photon OTA (75320)

The N203/1000 is a classic Newtonian telescope suitable for a wide range of astronomical uses. It offers excellent performance for both deep-sky and planetary observation.

This professional Newtonian telescope provides stunning views of distant objects in space. With it, you can see hundreds of stars in the double cluster in Perseus, observe the nebula surrounding the Pleiades, and enjoy the detailed structures of the Lagoon Nebula in Sagittarius. Even the dark lanes of the Trifid Nebula are visible. Using optional nebula filters with the 200 mm aperture can further enhance image contrast.

For lunar and planetary observation, the small secondary mirror and thin support struts allow for detailed viewing. You can spot features like Cassini’s Division in Saturn’s rings, surface details on Saturn, structures in Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, and various features on Mars. Color filters can be used to boost contrast when observing the Moon and planets.

The telescope is also well-suited for astrophotography. The Moon and planets make excellent photographic subjects, and a camera adapter is available. The large aperture allows for short exposure times, improving image resolution. For long-exposure photography with a standard SLR camera, it is recommended to use a guide scope (available separately).

The carbon fibre tube makes this telescope especially suitable for astrophotography. It is lightweight, making it easy to use with smaller mounts, and offers high stability with minimal thermal expansion. This helps keep the focus stable throughout the night. The carbon fibre dew shield is easily extendable, and the tube is lined with black felt to reduce stray light.
