TS Optics Telescope N 203/800 Photon OTA (57997)

The N 203/800 features very fast optics, making it especially well-suited for astrophotography. Its short focal length allows for significantly shorter exposure times compared to telescopes with longer focal lengths. With the addition of an optional coma corrector, this Newtonian telescope can be transformed into a true astrograph, ideal for capturing sharp, wide-field images.

The Newtonian design ensures images are free from color errors, unlike other telescope types that often require costly lenses to minimize these issues.

With an 8-inch (203 mm) aperture, this telescope also excels at visual observation of nebulae and galaxies. The included extension tubes help you achieve the correct focal position for various applications.

A built-in fan allows the telescope to cool quickly to ambient temperature, which is important for both observing and imaging.

Despite its large aperture, the 8-inch model is still relatively portable and only requires a medium-sized mount.

The working distance from the M48 thread is 55 mm, and using a T-ring provides the correct spacing for DSLR astrophotography.
