This telescope is equipped with a carbon fibre tube, making it an excellent choice for astrophotography, while also being highly suitable for visual observation. The carbon fibre construction provides several key benefits: it is lightweight, allowing for use on smaller mounts, and it offers exceptional stability with minimal thermal expansion. These features help maintain stable focus throughout the night, which is especially important for long astrophotography sessions. The dew shield is also made from carbon fibre and can be extended easily. The inside of the tube is lined with black felt to minimize stray light.
