Sky-watcher SynScan kit for Dobson 14" (SW-4257)

This kit allows you to convert a Dobsonian mount into a GoTo system and includes a new telescope base along with the GoTo drive system. The set contains all parts needed for self-assembly, such as the GoTo controller, optical tube clamps, motors, all necessary wiring, and screws.

The kit features the SynScan controller, also known from the HEQ5 and EQ6 mounts, which can locate 30,000 celestial objects in its database and automatically track them as the sky moves.

The GoTo Upgrade Kit is provided as a set of base plates for the Dobsonian mount with motors already installed.

If you add the SynScanWifi accessory, you can control your telescope using a smartphone or tablet, increasing the convenience of operation.
