Sky-watcher SynScan kit for Dobson 16" (SW-4258)

This long-awaited kit allows you to upgrade a popular Dobsonian telescope with a full GoTo system.
At the heart of the kit is the SynScan controller, well known from the HEQ5 and EQ6 mounts. This controller can locate any of over 30,000 celestial objects and automatically track them, making observation with a Dobsonian telescope much easier.

The GoTo Upgrade Kit consists of new base plates for the Dobsonian mount, with motors already installed. The kit includes all parts needed for self-assembly, such as special optical tube clamps, motor housings, screws, wiring, and the GoTo controller.

This version is designed for Synta SKDOB 16 (standard version) and BKDOB 16 Tube Flex (collapsible Dobsonian) telescopes.
