IT IS HERE! The long-awaited Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack with Wi-Fi control has finally arrived.

The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer, now in its latest 2i version, sets a new standard in simple, portable wide-field astrophotography. This compact and discreet device is in fact a precise and advanced equatorial head, packed with highly useful features.

Functionality
The complete set of functions allows quick and efficient capture of high-quality night-sky photographs. In addition to multiple tracking speeds, the head features an autoguider port and the ability to trigger the camera shutter at customizable intervals through advanced firmware. With this system, you can create not only beautiful individual frames but also time-lapse sequences and wide-field “star-scape” photography, where the night sky becomes the main subject.

Performance
The modern DC servo drive ensures precise tracking control while remaining compact and energy-efficient. The Star Adventurer can operate for several days on a single set of batteries.

Field tests have shown the mount is capable of virtually error-free exposures of up to 5 minutes with a standard 50mm lens. When used with an optional autoguider, lenses ranging from 300 mm to 500 mm can also be used without difficulty.

Polar Alignment
The head includes a precise illuminated polar scope, often more accurate than those found in larger and more expensive equatorial mounts. It accounts for the North Pole’s position shift due to precession and provides clear markings with an annual scale for easy alignment.

Design and Mounting Options
The head is equipped with an adjustable equatorial wedge, supporting both 1/4" and 3/8" tripod mounts, and an L-adapter with a 1/4" thread mounted via a Vixen-style dovetail. It can also be paired with a high-quality ball head, giving photographers full freedom in framing compositions. For ergonomic reasons, the Star Adventurer uses a single right ascension axis with a mechanical clutch, enabling quick position changes during use.

Wi-Fi Control
A highly anticipated new feature is Wi-Fi control through a free Android application, available in the Google Play store. This allows wireless control of the mount, making operation more convenient than ever.
