The Sky-Watcher Esprit 100 mm f/5.5 is a premium apochromatic triplet refractor designed specifically for demanding astrophotographers while also delivering outstanding performance for visual astronomy. Supplied with a dedicated threaded field flattener, it produces a flat, fully corrected image across the field and offers optical performance that significantly exceeds conventional ED doublet refractors such as the Sky-Watcher Black Diamond and Equinox series.

The optical system consists of three precision lens elements, including a central extra-low dispersion (ED) element manufactured from premium Ohara glass in Japan. This advanced design minimizes spherical aberration, astigmatism, chromatic aberration, and other off-axis optical errors, producing exceptionally sharp, high-contrast images.
