The AM5N is the newest version of ZWO’s proven AM5 harmonic equatorial mount. It supports telescopes up to 15 kg without counterweights and up to 20 kg when optional counterweights and a counterweight bar are used. Despite its impressive load capacity, the mount weighs only 5.5 kg, making it highly portable. The mount can operate in equatorial (parallactic) mode for astrophotography or in altazimuth mode for visual observation. Both a wireless hand controller and app-based control are included. Thanks to integrated WiFi, cable clutter is minimized.

This tripod combination is perfectly suited for use with the ZWO Seestar smart telescopes, including the Seestar S30 Pro. When paired with the included tilt head, it also enables equatorial (parallactic) operation of the telescope. The TC20 tripod is already included as standard with the Seestar 50. ZWO Smart Telescopes are equipped with a compact azimuth mount. However, they can also be operated in equatorial mode. For this setup, the telescope must be tilted so that the azimuth axis aligns parallel to the Earth's rotational axis.
