Compatibility: Designed for the Celestron AS-VX GoTo mount, suitable for SkyShed piers and adaptable to other piers. Mounting Features: Includes four counter bore holes for M8 screws (64.5 mm distance from the center). Four M8 stainless steel screws are provided for attaching the adapter to the pier.

The Altair pier adapter is designed to securely attach the EQ8 mount or the GM1000 to your Altair SkyShed Pier (pre-2014 models) or Starbase tripod. It is also suitable for use with self-built piers, thanks to its smooth surface that facilitates easy adjustments.
