The CXL 3-1LW is a vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna designed for the 118-137 MHz civil aircraft band. It uses a broad-banded half-wave dipole design and is equipped with a lightweight “LW” mast mount made from epoxy-coated aluminum with stainless steel fittings. The antenna can be mounted on either vertical or horizontal mast tubes with an outer diameter of 16 to 54 mm.
